Dr. Huncik is originally from Tennessee, and she attended college at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN. After completing her pediatric residency training in 2005 at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Dr. Huncik became the Medical Director of the MUSC Medically Fragile Children's Program (MFCP), a collaboration between Coastal Pediatrics, Medicaid, and MUSC. After closing MFCP in March of 2009, Dr. Huncik joined CPA full-time. She works primarily in the West Ashley office, and once weekly sees patients in the James Island office. Dr. Huncik is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care, and has a special interest in Patient and Family Centered Care, as well as Adoption.
Dr. Huncik is married to an avid Steeler's fan, and they enjoy traveling to the Steeler's games. They have a 2 year old son. In addition to spending time with her family, Dr. Huncik also enjoys reading, cooking and going to the beach.
