Leigh Arden grew up in King, North Carolina, near Winston Salem. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Health Promotion and Kinesiology. Then, she received her Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing from MUSC. She has worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in private practice and in the MUSC Pediatric Emergency Department. Prior to working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Leigh Arden worked as a pediatric nurse in the MUSC Children's Hospital. She is also a member of the MUSC College of Nursing faculty and has taught clinical rotations to undergraduate nursing students. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Leigh Arden, her husband Joey, and her son Ellis live in Mount Pleasant. She enjoys the beach, traveling, live music and sports.
